How do you get on with it? I've been fancying one
I love it, actually my favorite watch ever. From the first time I put it on my wrist I fell in love and now I have had it for a year 😀

Brown turtle neck and black leather strap? At least I think it works somewhat decent in the autumn weather!

Finally back on wrist

Lucky you! As I had been beginning to fear, TAG and Tourneau finally confirmed today that they have lost mine. And Tourneau will likely only offer store credit for the retail price, nevermind the import duty I paid nor the fact that they're trading for a few hundred above retail so far.

Terrible doesn't even begin to describe it. I would be absolutely fuming!

I've come to resent the watch, it having been far more of a stressor in my life than something I have enjoyed, so not having it isn't a bad thing. But I will certainly be fuming if I can't recover at least the full price I paid for it (initial purchase in CHF + foreign transaction fee on CC + import duty) if not the market value of the watch (US 7-7.5k or so right now). Tourneau won't promise how they'll make me whole, but they keep talking about replacing the watch. Which would only happen if they either bought the sole one currently for sale (C24, US 10.5k ask) or TAG produced another...

Testing a Little blue Heuer 1000 with 955.112 movement conversion that I built, I think this one will end up being a gift to my father this Christmas. Hope he will like it!

It's too bad that they lost your watch but, under the circumstances, it would be great if Tournoooo! makes you whole.

Very sorry to hear about your ordeal. How to replace a watch like that. They probably insure the watches they ship right? Imo you’re entitled to market value, nevermind the original cost. Perhaps try to squeeze out the ‘19 LE Monaco? 😗
