What to do?

As you can see I've got a nasty scratch on the lug of my watch. I'm sure most of you have had to deal with scratches at some point so I'm looking for some help on how I should tackle this. The watch is only 7 months old so don't really want to send it off for a service and polish, I just brought a cape cod polishing cloth but to scared to use it!

The scratches are deep; the cape cod polishing cloth won't do much.

You can try Simichrome, it will attenuate the scratches but anything deep will stay there.

I would imagine any small independent jeweller (i.e. non-mainstream chain) would be happy to polish those out for a modest fee.
It's not like you actually need anyone to access the movement. The fact it's a watch is almost irrelevant.

Just finished using the cape cod cloth quite happy with the results. It's still there, but it's hardly noticeable, you've really got to look for it now.
