Is there any microbrands that you really love ? If yes, what is it ?

If not, then why not ?

Have you got personal unpleasant experience with microbrands watch ?

Please let me know if you have time to spare.

I am looking at Spinnaker now. But don't know if i should pull the trigger. I am aiming at this particular model with bronzo and swiss SW200 movement (in comparison to their usual use of Miyota movement. This is their top of the range i suppose)

I don't have any experience with microbrands but I've watched an awful lot of 'Just One More Watch' videos about them. I never really get the feeling of 'quality' from them, everything seems a bit tacky and cheap looking, and they seem to have terrible font choices and even worse logos... but some are undoubtedly better than others.

The only experience I have is my dad's purchase of the Rebel from Liv watches. When holding that watch I cant believe the feeling of quality and that it does not cost more than it does. Also has a Sellita movement. My dad loves it and actually has a second Liv watch coming soon 👍

I dont know if it falls under the definition of "micro brand" but every now and then I go online to drool over this beauty

I only knew the Carrera Lady range being quartz!

I guess this is a very recent model. Isn’t it? So TAG Heuer have again expensive quartz mens watches in their range, like in the 90’s, when the top of the range -6000 Series- was available in both quartz and automatic movements 👍

BTW, it’s funny that link to this watch says “automatic” 😁

There is also a Calibre S Carrera... I must admit when I just looked at that photo my first thought was that it could be a fake. Not because of the quartz, but because of the subdials and the general 'flat' look of the dial... glad it's not! Must check I've got this one on my gallery blog.

Probably not helping that the photo doesn't show the red tip of the second hand.
