Thanks @Jemagloh
Congrats on the Blue Dreamer mate! That is one rare blue bird!!! What an awesome find! 😎 👍
What are your impressions on how the case compares to the H02 glassbox series?

Thanks Michael.
In the short time wearing it the Blue Dreamer seems to be the most comfortable.
The Calibre 18 is certainly a lot quieter than the H02.
This Blue dial has at least 2 different tones depending on Light.
First impressions are very good. Glad I went ahead with it and thanks for the pre purchase advice.

Hold on, when did this Blue Dreamer land @Anthony.R ? I can't find your original post. Huge congrats if recently - you have the rarest glassbox. Not sure how I missed it - I want to hear all the details about where you got it and how much you paid. And of course, if you ever move it on, you have to let me know first 😀

Hey Charlie.
The full story is :
Missed out on initial release like nearly everyone. Ever since I've been on the hunt.
I've seen some over the years but always too expensive and then gone within days.

I found this one on Chrono24 last week. It was listed in California and was asking $15k AUD. That was way too much for me so I was a bit cheeky and sent an offer of 12k.
Well you wouldn't believe it the seller accepted. So after some advice from @Mspeedster I went ahead.
The Panda was $10,650 here so an extra $1500 sounded like a good deal for a Limited edition of 100 pieces.
I promise if I ever decide to sell it you are my man. But after looking for so long I can't see me parting ways with it any time soon.

Thanks for that, very interesting. I also missed out on the initial release (very slightly too late to the party). I've been really close on this one a couple of times since but import duties killed the deals unfortunately. Never found one for sale in the UK. I don't keep as close an eye out as I should any more.

Going to our local hifi shop Thursday, after a new vinyl deck, I know what I want but something tells me myself and SWMBO are around £14k apart, ah well, at least I’ll get to try it out.

This baby would be nice,Titan by VPI, but at around £50k I need a lottery win, and new ears to appreciate the sound. You think watches are a wallet enemy, try audio.

I know a guy who is into audio, he recently went to a shop for a listening session and took a PIL album with him... 😁

I couldn't tell the difference either I'm sure. Looks overly engineered. For kind of the same reason I'm not into really high horology, it favours form over function (as well as being damn expensive!). I'd probably get a Technics SL-1210.
