I doubt TAG Heuer will have an in-house movement with a crown specific on the left. A large part of the charisma of getting a Monaco is precisely because of SMQ and Le Mans and being true to its core, I believe CAW211P will be here to stay. It still remains to be a best seller for TAG Heuer 👍

I wish, but probably not. That was just a fantasy mockup by a Hodinkee staff member.

Forget about the F1 case, just fit it into the TH heritage Autavia chrono case. Add depth, if needed to fit the GMT H02 movement. Make it resemble the original!

Bonus points if they make the steel finish lightly brushed instead of polished.

Or even if they use the compressor case.

The bezel should be less metallic and more like what they did in this GMT Aquaracer, just a bit more understated.

The modern day successor of the Golden Age Autavia is really the Formula 1. The “Autavia” name being revived again has really taken a different path not so much of motorsport glory days I’m afraid.

Maybe a collab with just TAG Heuer on the dial like the Fragment F1 H02. I don’t believe the Autavia name will be used again on anything other than the current line.
The heritage chrono case is too thick for me.
The F1 has those awful crown protectors and crown.
So vintage it is?

You and I both own reissued Breitling 806. The original 806 is nearly same price as reissued. Ha
I should have put in more effort and hunt a nice original instead.

Yes, but that's my point. The Breitling Navi 806 was carefully developed to be so close to the original that it's hard to spot the difference. So I'm very happy with my Breitling.

TAG's heritage models are nice tributes and I do enjoy mine, but they're not as close to the originals compared to other makes.

The heritage Autavia in particular just doesn't cut it for me when I look at the Rindt original. If the F1 case is used with the H02 to make an Autavia GMT, it means the watch will be on the larger side like the Fragment F1. That's too big for what I'd want.

I think it’s the Teal Carrera in a bad picture…

But… could Bamford make a panda version (black background and white subdials) of this Carrera? 🙄

Im guessing teal, the glassbox coming this year is another colour
