I love that they're all wearing Monacos, coincidence or planned?

Must be staged, that whole video is just a long ad in my eyes. But some good footage of some sexy pieces anyway!

I had totally forgotten about the Solargraph, now that's an Aquaracer I could get behind. It doesn't have any of the bits that I hate about the 43mm aquaracer, no ugly cyclops, no octagonal markers, no stupid date position, no shitty sellita movement, plus it's got a super cool lume bezel and its solar powered!

Anyone want to buy a night diver?

If they make a Solargraph Night Diver, I would be all over it! That should be their next model! 😀

In a ti case…preferably on a pvd ti bracelet like the original

That Carrera looks surprisingly nice... still not sure about the Solargraph for some reason

Any ideas why not? To me it seems like the perfect AR! I'm delighted to realise TH still make a watch that I want to buy, it was looking like a heavy year for other brands.

I dunno if it's that light blue second hand or what... it looks kinda insubstantial somehow. Plastic looking.

Funny, I hadnt considered that, but now you call it out...

The only thing really detracting it for me is being pvd steel. In my head it should either be shiney steel, or pvd titanium. Although I would settle for non-pvd titanium.

I guess pvd steel would eventually aquire the fantastic patina of @Mspeedster 's night diver, but it'll be a sad decade of scratches to get there.

Scratches yes, but the general wear isn't likely to happen the way it did in the '70s and '80s. The coatings and coating processes are much more robust nowadays, so while you can still scratch through it you probably won't be seeing that wabi-sabi wear on the edges like we see on original Monzas or Night Divers.

Yeah the modern DLC coatings are much better than the PVD used in the 70s & 80s. I get paranoid whenever I wear my vintage piece for fear of adding even more patina. I was able to find a nice original replacement PVD crown, mine was worn down to the brass. But now I've taken to wearing gloves whenever I change the date or time. LOL.😜

I'd love to have a modern version that I could daily wear without fear of harming the coating.

In the photos you've posted with the wear on the case and bracelet, yours looks fantastic, lovely authentic patina.

I do daily wear my pvd watches (WAY night diver, 500m full black, avenger night mission), but I definitely still worry about damage to the coating, and they are all Ti so should wear better than a pvd steel. They have taken the wear quite well, there's a scratch on the crown of the night diver, some polishing on the corners of the 500m...and the avenger...lets not go there.

I don't see why it wouldn't be available, never had an issue ordering replacement straps for any of my Monacos. When I ordered a spare strap for my Monaco 50th Anniversary, the price was $108. That was 2 years ago, so it might've gone up a little.
