Makes one wonder why Heuer didn't just go and do that themselves, of course they were in a tough spot financially but I'd think it probably would've been cheaper to buy the wholesale parts themselves. Maybe a production capacity issue, do you think?
TBH I think it was financial. If Heuer were in such dire straights maybe they didn't want to risk buying in a load of parts they didn't know if they could sell or not, and instead test the waters by farming it out to someone else. They seemed to have the capacity when they took it all back in-house shortly after....

Wow, that is a beauty. Not a gold watch man myself but I could make an exception for this one.
Congrats.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.😀 Missing the 9 lume plot tho, always something...👎
Never thought I'd be a gold collector either, but it's joining a group

A 1970 Super Autavia (NOS). I initially wasn't really into the Super Autavias but seeing it in person, WOW! The orange accents really adds some pop to the dial and overall look.

Hello,
I know, it isn't a watch but can someone give me information about what seems to be a part of a heuer display ?
Thanks

A monument… worn by another monument (and sorry for the lousy pic) 😉

Abercrombie & Fitch isn't usually associated with black PVD, let alone a quartz one too.
This Heuer 2000 ref. 253.006-1

And a bonus shot for @Albert-AMG

First vintage Heuer post since aug 30 although some claim the forum is infested with Heuerists 🙄

I think Heuer aficionados are just more into the actual watches than generating likes in the forum 😜

Wow-that is special! Never seen anything like it so late in production. Very interesting strap too-although I can't believe it belonged to the watch originally. 👍

A similar strap is attached to this ladies 2000 ref. 953.008. So maybe it was the default option for those who didn't want/afford the bracelet option?
