A new arrival tks to this forum and a very kind member 👍

Yes - it’s pretty “run of the mill” as far as vintage Heuer is concerned… Do I car about it? Noooo 😁

Very nice and, as I often say, once you wear one you cannot appreciate just now great it is! THAT is why these are so popular!

Tell us about it then-1163 or 1163V...? Cal 11 or 12-any ideas? 😎

1163V MH (which is now widely accepted as having been a “stock” variant, as I’ve learned).
Schmitz case and a serial number placing it towards EO 1972 (or effectively early 1973 - who knows).
Cal. 12 appears to work very smoothly 👍

I just realize how humongous these Autavias must have appeared back in the days. Especially compared to Carreras and the non-Heuer competition…

Glad it went to a good new home 👍
A great untouched survivor, serviced and operating smoothly. Because of the sheer number of Viceroys one gets to experience the pinnacle of ‘70s Heuer at a democratic price. Non V’s in similar condition trade for at least 50% more and are basically the same watches.

First time poster in the German Uhrforum (i.e., in the Heuer Vintage thread over there) with a beautifully preserved Autavia 11630 MH:

Tiny interrogation re. the correctness of the bracelet. So if anyone can confirm…

Looks like the Autavia ‘oyster’ yes. Not sure about clasp. You see these with either vertical or horizontal Heuer.

Not sure about clasp.

That's the only question I'd have - the fliplocks were usually only seen on the beads of rice style bracelets. Not sure if they ever came on the later oyster bracelets though

Not to be confused with the Heuer oyster bracelet, this is the so-called 'brick bracelet' common to the 11630. The clasp is correct for it.

Lovely example!!!👍

A pretty “albinos” Heuer Lemania 5100 from a user in a German Forum who prefers to remain unnamed…

Never seen this one before.
A ‘60s Sinn 128 in a Heuer Carrera case.
Iooks like a Singer dial with lume markers. Carreras all had applied markers except for the Belgian flieger.
