The 1153's seem to be reasonably priced and within reach pricewise

Reasonably priced I agree. I find the Heuer Price Guide by Crosthwaite very informative although traders will usually ask more to a lot more than suggested here. And some collectors seem to be drinking the same kool aid. Mind you the prices are in £. My last vintage purchases have been pretty much on the mark though.
Thanks had not seen this before.
Me too! Although mine has different details.
Hi, I have difficulty in understanding which model of my CA 1212 RO has a blue triangle with PV inside on the dial. Thanks for your help.
So many variations! Let alone the obvious differences, check out the smaller points such as the open/closed '4's in 14 and 24....what a minefield!
Welcome to the forum Stefano, we've seen this PV logo on an Aquaracer before - do you know anything about it?

Wrong-definitely a franken.

To be fair, half the reason it is so complicated is because there ARE so many chopped up pieces-you take a generic '844', push some vaguely Heuer parts in (or refinish a dial if not) and ta daaa....a nice new Monnin/844. Kerching! The worst are the orange dial 844s which (in my opinion) categorically never existed.
