Hi @chamonix and thanks for posting...great story and lovely watch. For servicing in the US I have had Time Essentials in Pasadena recommended. The bezel will be hard...or more accurately, expensive.

TAG Heuer do make modern replicas of the original bezel- drop me a PM and I can put you in touch.

@chamonix stunning watch and highly collectible these days! I concur with others and say leave it be. That bezel insert is perfect, and while they do come up occasionally you’ll pay a small fortune for it, and lose a little of your history with it....although you can always swap the old one back in.
Crystal you should just see about a plush as suggested as doesn’t look like it needs replacing at all.

Again, a magnificent watch!

Thanks. I've always loved them. They have a sculptural quality and of course have the strong motorsport connection. I don't imagine that Heuer thought that these would still be cherished 40 years later.

I've bought and sold a few a long the way. Some of these I've had for a few years whilst others are more recent acquisitions however my family are turfing me out of my study and so I'm having to downsize the collection.
