Hi Guys,
My first post here.
I am not a heuer collector, but could not resist this one.
Could you please help me identifying this model, date it, and also post apicture of a correct crown for it.
I presume the movement is a Landeron 13, but not sure.
When watch comes back from spa, I will post further pictures.
Thanks for any help and feedback.

Not too familiar with these but guess it is a 433 (not 418) from the 1940’s.

Here’s an extract from the 1946 catalogue. Case, pushers, hands, dial and then even the right side sundial markings match up I think.

Here’s the link to Onthedash where the above catalogue picture came from: http://www.onthedash.com/document/1946-brochure/

Sorry I meant the 433. Looking at the case design and dial layout it’s that over the 403, and appears to be the larger of the two models.

Hi All
Watch is with my watchmaker.
He sent me some dial pics.
Can't find SWISS or SWISS made in the bottom of dial.
Is this correct or I might have a redial?
Thanks

I see no reason to think it’s a redial as it’s quality is clear and I personally can’t see anything which suggests a non-original/factory finish.

I don’t know a great deal about the models of this period and only gather my info from online sources, but the ‘Swiss’ you’re looking for does not appear to be a standard feature. Brief research shows catalogue drawings with ‘Switzerland’ on the bottom of the dial, but the majority of dials from actual watch photos appear to have nothing.

So based on this I think yours is as expected and perfectly original.
