I was at my watch repairers and he showed me a vintage Heuer he's restoring. As I'm more of a contributor on the Omega forum this isn't a watch I'm familiar with. Can anyone give me a little more information? I apologise in advance for the poor quality pictures.
Hi. This is a Carrera 12 Dato from the late 1960s. http://carrera.calibre11.com/tag-heuer-carrera-family/ They're a little unusual as while they are called Carreras, they don't use a Carrera case. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful watch...grab it if you can! dc
Thanks for the help. Do you think the dial is original? Some I've shown the pictures to have suggested it's a redial. I've done some research and only seen them with white date windows, are the black ones on this watch correct in your opinion.
