I will get us started with the Grand Carrera RS 6 (white dial).
IMHO gives the Seamaster Aqua Terra a run for its money. Sadly stopped being manufactured in 2012. Which watches do you guys think are underrated?

I think all of the CV21** don't get enough love. Prices are starting to rize a bit but for about 2k an awesome watch with vintage mojo with modern size

If I'm not mistaken I think they are also 39mm. That size with that dial is a killer combination. Love that the date is slanted. Makes it more unique.

    Completely agree.

I also think the Cal 1887 Carreras are underrated. My favorite is the 300 SLR, which I've also seen listed in the mid $2k range.

Nice watch. Rocinante, are you a Rush fan by any chance? Or just a fan of Don Quixote's horse?

    This ^^^

Also, the CS2111 original reissue Monaco is undervalued and underappreciated. I guess because it didn't come in a McQueen colourway.

+1 on the CV's. Since purchasing mine they have doubled! Wish I had kept the CV2113..Have also been watching the CS3XXX's and they are getting higher too. But of course its not all about price, they look great.

Also appreciate those Grand Carrera's, was the first proper TAG I saw on a mate and got me interested!

Same here. I think 'proper' is a great word choice for how I felt also. I wanted a white dial (just like them more) and wanted something versatile. The way it displayed seconds was a unique bonus. Strangely, I only really like the design in white and in 40mm. Thinks it looks like a different watch to me in any other color. Border around seconds wheel stands out too much or something about it, not sure.

Indeed, they seem to have increased a lot over the last two years. They are the first generation TAG Heuer Carrera, not counting the Heuer branded non-Carrera branded Carreras of the '90s. I expect the CVs will be on par with the CS at one point. They are timeless Carreras in a great size. Only the glassbox Carreras will give you the same kind of vibe and these are +6k now. You can still find very good ones, often full sets, at decent prices. That won't last. I have the CV2114 and the glassbox Dato and both get about the same wrist time.

I agree, the GC is definitely overlooked, but this is partly because it was too expensive. I had a Calibre 8 GMT and I eventually sold it. I wish I had bought a Calibre 6 instead. 43mm was too big with that plain bezel and empty dial. Would jump on a blue dial Cal 6 (300 Japan only)

I think you said it. That must have something to do with it. At that price point I guess people got pulled into other pieces. Honestly, I too probably would not have spent more than I did on my RS6. Other than the Calibre 6 the whole line was just way too big. I appreciated (maybe you too) that this was Tag Heuer's push to compete with Omega and Rolex and make something of higher quality. Whether they achieved that in any way is debatable, but you have to hold one in your hand to see the quality of the materials used for the dial. Also, the one thing that most people don't like about the Aqua Terra is the super shiny bracelet. As you know, the bracelets on the GCs were second to none. Very comfortable and 80% brushed. I didn't know the blue was a limited-edition version only in Japan. Interesting. I was going to say I don't think I've ever seen one.

When you see the PVD chronos in the outlet going for £5000 you know they were overpriced! I actually found a steel chrono for under £2000 the other day, but generally speaking they seem to be on the rise. They were always about £2500 but they seem to be creeping over £3000 now.

Bracelet was very nice for sure and yes they were very well made, certainly felt quality in the hand.

Blue dial chrono and Calibre 6 were both Japan only limited editions.

    This may be of interest...

Did you know the watch was officially called the 'TAG Heuer Grand Carrera', not just 'Grand Carrera'?

Wow. I didn't realize I was talking to the expert. Most of those I have never seen anywhere. The black dial with the green sweeping hand looked interesting but again they are just too big. When you say "a lot of empty space' I know what you mean. I also understand what that guy in the comment section said about them looking fake. Dials that big and that busy tend to look that way. I think because of this the whole line gets dis-regarded and the RS6 gets overlooked. I thinks it's the 'Alec Baldwin' of the Grand Carrera brothers. The one that looks just right.

Besides, why would you listen to the opinion of someone who bought the 'hot' watch of 2021? :p

The other thing I found with the chronos, was that the shape of the subdial kinda interferes with the overall shape of the dial and makes it look oval. I dunno, sometimes I find the subdials just flat out weird. I originally wanted a chrono and then went for the GMT because of the grand date. But I much prefer the smaller watch because of the better dial symmetry.
