Have just seen that the seller says he has the parts needed, so that could make life a lot easier. I wouldn't worry about the gasket or service...it's the parts that you really need.

    Good luck!

    sorry
i have a question for the group...
why would the engraving between the lugs say 92603? shouldnt it say 2447?
and no numbers on the bottom.

also - movement seems from an auctavia? not carrera?

Early Carrera's don't have the reference number engraved between the lugs, only the serial number. I believe that the Panda/ Reverse Panda watches are from the later part of the 1960s- 1967 and on.

Both the Carrera and the Autavia (and the Camaro) used the Valjoux 72. What makes you think this one comes from an Autavia?

Hey. congrats! Love the strap that you have it on too. Can we get some close-up shots?

thanks for the all the help everyone!

    a quick update...

    1) i got the 2447 and the Fab Suisse 7753. both will be serviced.
    2) waiting for the replacement inner ring is in the mail.
    3) i feel i found the correct parts online . see below. can you give your opinion on them>? i photoshopped ontop of a standard 2447 image to validate the size, ratio.

Congrats Luzer- great choices and they look fantastic. My best guess is that the chapter ring on all 60s Carreras will be the same, as the case size is identical for every variation. Perhaps @abcoro can help?

Quick update. I had a seller of hands who stopped responding. :(
    So still searching

Would a valjoux 72c hands set fit this?

That's frustrating- don't know on the 72c- you mean the triple calendar movement?
