I think Tag Heuer still needs 15-20 more brand ambassadors and it will be fine.

Yeah, I've been skeptical about that too. I guess, time will tell.

I read an article way back that said the only reason DiCaprio did the ambassador thing was that TAG Heuer donated a boat load of money to his charity.

Unfortunately for me, when you have this many brand ambassadors you're fashion more than substance. It's to the point of ridiculousness, IMHO. How many is enough? Nothing against Hemsworth.

I knew about DiCaprio's charity arrangement with Green Cross International. In fact the logo was predominantly showcased on the printed advertisements.

That said, I think this is a step in the right direction. Having Hemsworth as an ambassador, is more in line with the figures of yesteryear. Can't deny he presents a far better image for the brand than most of the figures who signed up this year. Besides, let's not forget how much Heuer was visible throughout the movie Rush; one could argue this arrangement was bound to happen.

Finally, I think some of the new ambassadors will not be renewed. Like everything, there is a trial period and the sales figures will not lie. We'll just have to wait and see how many of those sponsorships persist next year.

I have nothing against the DJ ambassadors to Tag Heuer, they all excel in their field, but as a brand image association, I really don't see the fit.

He looks like Brad Pitt. Why didn't they just sign up Brad Pitt instead of this look-alike?

Brad Pitt already was an ambassador a few years ago. Their goal is to attract "younger" clientele.

I concur. The whole line is going entry level, youth. So sad to watch this change.

Here is Hemsworth promoting rush at an Apple event wearing the Carrera Cal. 36 Flyback.

Just looked-up the episode. The Monaco is such a striking model it looks amazing even from a distance.

I think Stephen Colbert at some point was sporting a Monaco.

But no one will ever beat the King of Cool. Expect perhaps @Hubert 😜

You honor me sir; thank you! 😎

Yes, Colbert certainly sported a black Monaco on the Report. However, haven't seen him wear it once on the Late Show.

Another noteworthy Monaco fan would be Vince Gilligan, or maybe one of the writers of Breaking Bad, since it was prominently worn by Walter White

While watching Saturday Night Live with this week's host Chris Hemsworth, I noticed something interesting on one of the promo pictures that appear between sketches.

Is this an unreleased Calibre 11 black Monaco? Could this be part of next year's collection?
