I also didn't put the number under the first picture or the hashtag number in the label section. Thanks again.

True of this forum. But many of us knew the Panda King was coming.

To the general public (who didn't know about the 60th back in Nov), if TAG had co-marketed with WOS, I suspect it would've sold out quickly. At least many flippers would've gone for it. WOS might be big in the UK, but they don't have the reach of TAG Heuer globally. It was a very quiet under the radar release. If @HeuerLondon88 hadn't brought it to our attention, many of us wouldn't have known about the WOS. Even @Jeff Stein was unaware.

I for one was seriously weighing whether to get the WOS instead of the 60th. The WOS is a grand cheaper, plus I don't have an Elegant in my collection, so it's something different. But ultimately I felt the 60th is more special. Being the last glassbox and a very faithful re-edition of the highly coveted 2447SN. TAG Heuer finally threw me the bone I was asking for, how could I refuse?

Which means the Panda was £2000 more than the Tudor panda.

Bit ridiculous isn't it. I did think the Panda was too expensive, even if it was limited in number. But the money is easily forgotten. Love conquers all.

Tudor provides a quality product at a very attractive price. Every TAG is overpriced when compared to what one can get from Tudor. Same goes for most other brands compared to Tudor as well.

But at the end of day, @Jemagloh is correct!

In all fairness, as @Aquagraph and others have seen with COCO voting, the prices of the releases often impact my scores (generally causing the score to be a bit lower than it would have been but for the price).

I think TAG would argue that Tudor doesn't have the cache that the TH name does for the man on the street. This may change now that Tudor are starting to open more boutiques, unfortunately I think it will be more likely that Tudor prices will catch up to TAG's not the other way round...

Thanks Brad, it's a very nice watch, and very limited into the bargain - could prove a good investment in time. Are you looking at it on the bracelet or the strap?

Strap as I feel that 'pops' more. Also felt the bracelet made it feel generic, I understand the bracelet is the same as others in the range & can be purchased later.

Didn't mind the rotor wobble either. The SA did bring out the standard blue elegance with bracelet so I can see, but mentioned this was chunkier (odd).

IMHO the best looking panda dial out there & beats the Tudor & Breitling.

Unsure if it will loose money but also odd not sold out as very low numbers.

Lastly dial not ice white, but more ecru maybe, not as beige as the pictures make out

For me both this and the Monaco give me the sparkle more than the Speedy

What do you think about the size?
How does it compare for you to the Speedy size? I'm just wondering if you should wait until Mid March to see what the 39mm Carrera range brings?

Wonder what they meant about the 'chunkiness'? As you say it's the same bracelet and the same case... perhaps they meant versus the strap?

I think it looks good on either, strap gives it a more retro vibe... definitely prefer it to the Breitling and the Tudor.

Yeah, that dial is definitely of white and not at all beige.

Looks fine on your wrist to me.

My gripe with the Speedy seems to be the bezel/ dial proportions. The watch wears thin but large (not helped by the case shape which seems to flank out).

The pictures make the Carrera seem big on my wrist but actually wore nice & I don't know if the dial colour visually helped the balance more.

I know everyone goes on about the Speedy being legible but i struggles with the chrono function (saying that, polished hands and black dial could be hard).

The 39mm sounds great but also I doubt they will do that Panda config

SA mentioned the rose gold rotor on the blue one was the reason (god knows) I didn't want to freak her out with my geekiness and say nope

There is a faux two register panda but it's £18,000.

Reverse panda in silver and black... sent you a PM
