I hear you. For that to work there would have to be some spare 39mm Carrera chrono cases hanging around. There aren't....not this year anyway.

I'm sure we could reach a consensus and use a 1887 case, even though a bit thick.

Yes, but there have been enough 41mm heritage Heuer Carreras- we had 5-6 of panda/ reverse panda models in different colours. To be economic, it has to be an existing case/ movement combo- while the Heuer-02 would fit the 41mm Carrera case, the quality assurance process hasn't been done yet, so that's out.

If the idea gets any traction this year, it won't be a Carrera...but if the first one goes well, then the second one could be.

Yes, i know the difference between skeleton and tourbillon. But combining heritage with skeleton suddenly this came into mind.

They could have made a special strap to further differentiate it..

Nobody knows how to truly differentiate a limited edition like TAG Heuer.

To be fair, this is one of a series of watches done for World Tempus' 16th anniversary- and they all look to be the same, i.e. standard watch with a large "16"
