OK, now for some lume shots:
Above is my CAJ2180 sitting in a Wolf Winder holder right on the table's edge with the camera on a tripod. The camera is a Olympus Tough Guard 6 we bought for a diving camera, but it's got a fantastic macro mode:

Steady camera and watch fixturing is key as the shots are all long exposure shots. The camera is on aperture priority and zoomed in quite a ways, maybe 3.5x. The flashlight to the left is a UV flashlight.

The CAJ2180 in full bloom:

That's with the UV light shining on it.

Here's my WAN2110:

I'll let these digest and put up some more in a bit. My wife has a few amazing Aquaracers to share.

OK, some more lume shots.

Up first, here we have an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono in titanium. The movement is an Omega 9300:

Here you can clearly see the green vs blue lume that's supposed to make it easier to tell elapsed dive time.

Next, we have a Breitling Glactic 44, another diver with an ETA 2834-2 Chronometer grade movement:

Now for some TAGs.
My wife's first Aquaracer, a WAY141C a quartz movement in steel with a ceramic bezel. She's taken it on a few dive trips since we bought it on our first trip to Bali:

UV on:

Interesting that one diamond fluoresces much more that others. This is normal and due to certain impurities.

BTW, that little dash inline with the minute hand is just a refraction through the crystal bevel. I love what TAG is doing with different colored lumes. Does anyone know if they have actually incorporated Super Luminova in their linup? I'm not familiar with Luminova colors, but this looks like BGW9 (blue) and C5 in Super Luminova.

Here's a Lady's Carrera. More lume that I would have guessed. BTW, the battery EOL indicator was going, so it's a good thing I got all our TAGs out on the table. I might have missed this one and let the battery go flat:

Here's a Tissot Seastar. This one has an ETA C07 movement with the free-sprung balance and the plastic escapement. I'm not thrilled about the plastic escapement (both the escape wheel and pallet fork are plastic, supposedly injection moulded Delrin acetal plastic). The price was right though, $475 from a GM dealer:

Kinda surprising because, visually, this is one of the brightest watches I own.

Now for an Omega Speedmaster '57:

A few more TAGs to follow.

OK, up next is an Aquaracer, probably the top of the line or pretty close. We picked it up on a cruise in the Caribbean for the standard list -15%. It's a WAY1390 Ladies quartz model in ceramic. Here's a shot of the watch in it's entirety:

Now for a face shot:

This really shows off the green from the blue. Other than all my divers, I'd have to say that this is my favorite TAG (even though it isn't sized for my wrist). Isn't that lume beautiful, easily as nice as my SMPO.

For my coup de grace, I present my TAG Link Calibre 17 Chrono:

Aperture priority, shutter time automatic. Not really sure what the actual aperture is but several online references say f18. The exposure time is about a second, based on the sweep of the second hand (for those that were running).

Sorry for all the crustys. Hygene wasn't my top priority at the moment. I suppose that's a lesson for the future.

You need a can of compressed air. I keep meaning to get one.

I wish they made this in 41mm, I'd buy it like a shot!

Boy, I know what you mean. I try to stay away from quartz, just from a purist's standpoint, but it is maybe one of the most beautiful watches we own.
