Been a whole week since they said my watch was shipping from Geneva to Fort Worth TX... thinking maybe I should just cancel it at this point

Do it, mine has had a lot of wear and still looks great. Its actually the rubber crown and bezel grips that are showing damage, not the pvd.

Made no real sense in the lineup and that orange-to-red ring is a very strange choice IMO

Glassbox is really not holding it's value eh? Hell of a saving considering it has manufacturers warranty and a 2 year WF warranty on top of that!
Ah, no, but of course this will have a five year warranty anyway cos it's an in house movement...

Nope, in this market the depreciation's coming fast. Most of the 'standard' 39 glassboxes I've seen have been right around this level.

And this is how so many are lured into buying fakes. There are so many really good fake F1s and Aquaracers out there, for me it's worth the peace of mind buying from an AD.

That's fair; that FB group is very strict about who they let in, fakes, etc so I wouldn't be too worried but the F1s aren't my domain anyway and where I play it's easier to tell a fake.
