I would love to see a classic submariner (Heuer/ TAG Heuer 1000) style watch for 2015, just as Tudor did with the Black Bay.
But I am a little bit biased, haha...

Don't think I've ever seen that many of those in one place, that gold model second from the bottom left, is that the one DiCaprio wore as Jordan Belfort in The Wolf Of Wallstreet?

That's correct, and the two in the top-middle in the right box are also gold plated 1000's (984.013).

Is the bottom left also gold plate or 18K? I remember when the film came out so many watch collectors were saying he was wearing a GMT-Master until they released TAG Heuer also made gold models of that style during the era.

18K Gold plated is the one they used in the WOW, I have made a quick collage-photo last year from the original movie-picture, a zoomed-in part on the watch and my 1000, which is in the left box.
I made it right after I spotted he was wearing that 1000-model.
    See here:

There has been a real gold, non-plated 1000 though, but it is different in design than the one Leonardo DiCaprio is wearing (Bezel, dial, bracelet):

Noticed something else on the Wow movie watch?

I would like to see new, brighter colors in the F1 lineup. Bring back a tasteful orange, yellow and blue.

That he doesn't believe in screwing the crown down? :)

Wow! that's a lot of divers. You need to add a 980.007. It took me a couple of years to find this one:

I'd imagine its for continuity reasons, if there's a scene they're shooting and they take the shot 10 times, then the next shot has 5 takes then the next has 8, by the time the three brief scenes are stitched together in the movie you'll see the hands on his watch moving half an hour every time the camera angle changes, but if they pull the crown out and hack it, the hands won't visibly move from shot to shot within a watch visible scene (taking the battery out would probably be wiser)

Great watch! I found one a couple of months ago, currently it is totally disassembled waiting to be cleaned and build back up, should be ready for the summer (I hope)!

That is the best explanation I can think of, same with goofs with clocks in movies, funny sometimes if you spot it.
By the way, sorry we went a bit off-topic D.C. with this, my fault!

I hope we get a vintage themed Heuer as well. Still crying over the CH80

What I was told a few months ago was that there would be two Heuer-branded Carreras, but not sure if any of those plans have changed over the last few months.

Wonder if they'll be anything hand-wound / plexiglass / vintage styled of those

Totally not going to happen but I wouldn't mind seeing the old Monin style case turning up and becoming the 500m watch, with the current Aquaracer style being the 300m model.

Of course, we sort-of got the Monin style case back in the form of the Grand Carrera but not that many people bought that one.

I've been thinking about this for a bit.

I've always said that I felt the Calibre 5 Carrera has a bit too much empty space on the dial. I think an alarm model that would have a secondary alarm indicating ring (yes, I am think Tagheuer memovox...) would be pretty sharp.
