Just picked this up a year ago from Bamford in Mayfair what an experience.
Nice choice. Yes, have been lucky enough to visit “The Hive” and meet with George. Whether you love all his designs or you don’t, there can be no doubting his love for Heuer and TAG Heuer..has a fantastic personal collection

Autavia Re-edition (Mark I)

Beautiful Autavia. How many meters of coffee is it rated for? 😁

Very nice!!!
Picked up a 211B a few days ago as I've always wanted one. Everytime your name popped up I'd think it's the watch you should have, if you haven't already lol

Did you get the LE Gulf 50 from new, if so how did you manage that? I had to settle for the SE version as they had sold before I even knew about them.

Do you or anyone else know how much the 40th LE was new in £'s?

Obviously preferred the fact there was only 50 of the LE and the face is nicer with the correct lighter blue stripe but I don't really like the sticker over the workings on the back and the Black & Orange strap, rather the SE's Blue & Orange strap
So a bit of both would of been good

Just a pointer, I bought a spare blue & orange strap for mine once I found out that they are only £83 from TH shops. Yours should be the same if you want a spare while available..

I was a very lucky man last year. Well after everyone thought all of the 50th Gulf's had flown the roost, I managed to find one last piece in Tokyo.
Couldn't believe!! When I tried it on for the first time, other than the fact that it's quite limited and sort after, it just looks great and so blew me away.. POPS as they say.
Very well picked up by the way from that photo, obviously a man with a keen eye for detail.

The 40th LE Anniversary model was $10,000 NZD when new or around £5150 by todays exchange rate.

As for the 211B, I've never got excited about the grey faced Monaco. Too many other Heuers on my list before that one.. but I will never say never.

I also have a CW2113-0 Monaco calibre 17 ,which was my first. The face on those is very radiant and a lot of people who dont know the history of Monaco or the shade of blue of the original, prefer the blue of the Calibre 17... Especially woman I find.
