Truth be told, this looks absolutely nothing like the actual watches.. the orange is much darker than that!
Don't know how you turned silver into Gulf blue, but I like it!

A brief observation on the Teal Carrera: We had a mostly cloudy day yesterday, but today was substantially better. Amazingly, this watch looks a lot different. This dial really shines in sunlight. I’d venture to say it’s more than iridescent... I believe the glassbox’s refractions give it a bit more depth than would be otherwise possible with a flat crystal. Overall, this pairing of the crystal and dial seems to be a strong complementary match.

Thank you man! My wife actually took the first pic, so I’ll have to share the credit with her. But I’ll take full credit for posting it! 😁

Congratulations sir @Slomosen ::psy::

How about a pair shot with the green Monaco? 😁😁

Haha, @kappa_md, I appreciate the thinking! Unfortunately, I don’t have the green Monaco (what a beauty though!) I was a bit pre-occupied picking up a different green watch this season (seems like they were all green 🤨), but I don’t think it’s in line with the interests of this forum. 😉

@Slomosen this means you have all of the blue (ish) glassbox Carreras right?

I’ve not thought to categorize them that way, but I believe you’re correct. 😀

Beautiful warm and sunny day. Was planning to do some work in the garden. Couldn't concentrate.

That's so great! Where do you find these things?!!
I found it in a Japanese market.
I found 3 stopwatches related to Toyota in the past but this is my first Porsche one.

This one came with its original warranty card dated 1988.
