Ha ha, I just happen to be wearing this today. 馃檮 Posting it for your further enjoyment. LOL 馃榿

Ahhhh...a thing of beauty.
Didn't love it when I first saw it some 25 years ago but I am a big fan of the Navitimer & cosmonaute now.

Im no Breitling aficionado though but cant say I'm too familiar with that Logo.
I'm more from the B over Wings generation.
From what year would that Navitimer be?

Thanks! It's the re-edition of the highly collectable 1959 Navitimer ref. 806, released in 2019. The outside is identical to the vintage original, the inside features Breitling's latest in-house manual wind movement. The logo is the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA), which is the original "wings" logo if you will. 馃槈

Well, you learn something new every day.

I'm such a one eyed Heuer man I don't really take much notice of what other brands are doing in terms of re-editions etc.
In fact, it is on purpose, as I don't have the riches to get hooked on another brand, so try to avoid the temptation.
If you don't mind me asking, what would a watch like that set you back?

My 2003 aquaracer with waffle dial

Nice, I discovered the other day that this dial type is called 'Clous de Paris' according to an old catalogue, I would like one.... looks great on that strap.馃憤

Clous de Paris

is not a brand specific name but a watchmaking term to describe the type of dial finish that AP have used on their Royal Oak for eternity.

When I get home I will have a look, not sure if your exact watch was in the catalogue, but definitely similar pieces... I assume it is a WN2110?

I was researching a post on the 2000 Exclusive for my blog, would you mind if I used your photo in the post? One of the comments I made was that I'd rarely seen a 2000 Exclusive on a strap, so it would be nice to illustrate this and show it can look good.

I didn't think it was, like 'guilloche' for example..

Daylight saving time is really busting my balls today! And I still can't remember how to adjust the Chronotimer, Microtimer and F1 Kirium without looking in the manuals!
IF you just had to choose ONE ??

JAH JAH
IF you just had to choose ONE ??

I've asked myself that question many times and the answer is usually the Carrera Heuer 01.

It retails for $8600 USD. Limited to 1959 pieces. Got mine at a discount for under 8k.
