Also subscribed.... can't wait to see what comes next. Maybe you can do one of those '(over)reaction videos' where you listen to some music and pull faces like you've never heard anything like it in your life. Maybe start with that Accessory song.... 😜

I would go for the calibre 12, or rather the cal 11 for nicer design 😎 Better price point and a more sophisticated movement. The Heuer02 is terribly loud with a rotor spinning 200 km/h as soon as you move your arm. When the room is silent I have gotten questions "what the hell is that strange sound?". Not kidding. Also when moving you can feel a strong wobble from the movement, something I personally dont think pairs well with a luxury watch in these high price points.
You could answer: i am bringing my V12 with me today 😎 can your Rolex do that ?

To be fair, my Calibre 18 Carrera is equally noisy. Just that the rotor doesn't spin for quite so long as the Heuer02. I have an untested theory that sapphire casebacks somehow amplify the noise from the movement. On my steel caseback watches, it's harder to hear what's going on inside.
I think you can still hear and feel the rotor for the Aquaracer Chronograph. But it is of course the legendary 7750 that famous for its wobble.

Funfact: one of my favorite movement...

You wouldnt believe how loud it is. I can record a video, the world needs to know what it means when people say loud rotor. I have never tried a watch with a similar characteristic as this movement.
I’ve just seen video and that is very loud indeed.

Every watch seems to have that one thing that keeps it from perfect. I find the noise soothing at times thinking things out at work.

I did not seem to notice the noise when I checked out an 85th Jack Heuer Autavia with the solid case back at an AD a while back. Maybe the display back and thinner case helps amplify the noise.

Same noise on my Autavia Heuer 02.

On my Carrera Heuer 02 (42mm), the same noise but less loud / noticeable 😉

Yes. Luckily the rotor noise is not a dealbreaker for me. It bothers me sometimes and sometimes I wish it had the perfect H01 movement (with changed architecture to 3-6-9 layout) but every other aspect of the Ice King is perfect and I love it 👍

Dont think I will ever buy another watch with H02 though, but who knows!

3-6-9 layout for the Calibre H01/1887 is the Jack Heuer Carrera Bullhead 😉 It is 45mm huge 😁 I’d wear it during TAG Heuer x Calibre 11 Collecters Meet 😎

That's how it sounds if you put it next to your ear (or a microphone). It's quieter at a normal distance. At least mine is. On a normal busy day, I might just hear a faint spinning a few times a day.

I would only be concerned if this was the only Silver Carrera 160 that sounded like this, as it would indicate an anomaly. But if they all sound the same and the watch is fine like this, I would just enjoy feeling a mechanical engine roaring like this on my wrist... if you want absolute silence and precision, you can always buy a TH Connected or a fully electric car! 😝 😁 😉 👍

That is very loud, wow. Like metal parts that need lubrication. Sounds worse than a 7750. My H02 Autavia was not this loud. You could hear it but it sounded a lot smoother. I hope my next H02 is not this loud 😵‍💫

You should do an (over)reaction video to Jims opening a YouTube channel to cash in on the sound of spinning rotors.

If it needed lubrication, it wouldn't spin for so long. From a mechanical point of view, it's doing an excellent job at what it was intended to do. Maybe too well!
