I have understood that Tag Heuer Watches cames with several series like Formula1 and Aquaracer . But just wondering , is there any legacy tag watches out there ? the watch that people will know straight away that this is a Tag Heuer Watch even without read the letter first.
Some of the older S/EL or Link series watches stand out as icon TAG Heuer designs, otherwise Monaco maybe? Why do you ask?
Seems like every brand they have typical like tag aquaracer, omega seamaster, seiko tuna, etc... just for compiting the other with the same style. Oh yes, the link series.
Link and monaco are probably the most visibly tag. I see a lot of guys in their 50s/60s wearing old Links and instantly know what it is.
When they used same movement like Calibre 5 in the housing of aquaracer or link or formula1, is this just a gimmick style? or is there different quality material in the movement as well?
