Wow! Automobilia42 - that's a lot of dive watches! How many TAG Heuer/Heuer dive watches do you actually own??? That's a very nice representation across the range - 1000, 2000, 3000, 6000, and Aquaracer! You even threw in a Super Professional to boot! Nice work.

Wow @automobilia42 I'm literally gasping for air browsing thru all those diver watches haha... Very nice collection you have there. The automatic ones are 844/3 or 5?

Ok, here are pictures of some watches from my divers collection, mainly being 1000's, 2000's a 3000, 6000 and two Aquaracers 500M, enjoy!

Very impressive collection. Probably hard work to decide
which watch to wear.
My " collection": the Aquaracer Quartz 2005. A look at the caseback
daily piece of chocolate that doesn't effect my weight.

Thanks all, and yes, most of them are in nice condition, some of them are even new old stock.
To be honest, I stopped counting how many I have, I don't want to know and I certainly don't want my girlfriend to know.
Best would be if I have exactly one of each model in the series, like one 1000 980.013, one 980.029 etc.
But I do have many doubles, still can't decide which ones to keep in my collection and which are going to leave the safe though.
I always find a reason to keep one, so easy, as I know where and when I bought it, has the original box/papers, early series, later model, or the other one has a scratch on the pvd, etc. etc.
Always the same circle I am going through, haha, then it ends back in the safe.
One thing I am sure of: I am going more towards divers and leaving the Formula 1 models...may be I keep a couple of those, just for fun.

I mostly wear my Aquaracer 500M with the rosegold bezel attached to it, instead of the rubber black one (I have two bezels with it).

Xgeryx: 844/5

So guys, I just feel naked 馃檨

Yesterday I handed in my watch for an overall check and pressure test. As I left the shop I tried to check the time on my wrist, but all I saw was my skin and hair and my St. Mary charm bracelet. Then I realized that I just left it in the shop and it felt unutterably bad.

I just can't wait to get it back and honestly, I don't see that I'm ever part ways with this diver watch.

Hello guys,

A lillte off- topic in the sense it's not Tag Heuer, but still I keep in the realms of dive watches.

What y'all think about classic 60-70s dive watch brands as Ollech & Wajs, LeJour, Nivada? Are they worth the "investment"?

I have a series 1000 dive that somehow got moisture inside and damaged the internals, is it possible to get a replacement? At the time a local TAG dealer told me they were no longer available and it has sat in a case for several years due to this. Ta.

Yes, you can find the movements- depends which model you have, so best to take the back off and check the movement number. Many models used the ETA 955.112 movement- and those can be bought quite cheaply http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...0.XETA+955.112.TRS0&_nkw=ETA+955.112&_sacat=0

Afternoon, got the back of the watch but cannot see any numbers that look like movement numbers on the internals, do I need to get a magnifying glass or am I looking in the wrong place?

Post a photo of the movement, we may be able to tell by looking at it.
Otherwise, depending on how good your eyes are, you may need a magnifying glass. My eyesight isn't what it once was, I usually take a few marco shots with a camera and view them on my PC.

ETA 955.114, can be replaced also by the ETA 955.112 which is better in quality. See the link from Calibre11 a couple of posts above for prices and availability.
