Im looking to change up the bezel on my 90s tag heuer professional chronograph. The "starfish" bezel is cool, but it dates the watch. I would love to swap it with a more traditional bezel. Does anyone know if a bezel from a non-chronogrpah 2000 will fit? Attached is a photo of the watch currently, and one with a 2000 bezel photoshoped.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure what that model is properly called, but I've always known it as a Super 2000. It has a bezel from a Super Professional and I love it. If you're worried the bezel dates it, then the gen.1 insert bezel photoshopped onto it is ten years older still! Although, didn't both bezels actually orginate in the early 80's? I say keep it original.

 

Yes, I think it is the Super 2000 with a similar bezel design to the Super Professional. They are both old choices and do show age, each in their own way. As far as I know, the 2000 chrono is ca 1990. Thanks for the input!

 

I agree that the photoshopped version looks more modern

Have no knowledge about these models so I'm afraid I can't give any input in regards to if it will fit though.
