If you are patient enough though. There is another option in 2017...

Of course i am talking about Autavia Heuer 2017 !

Heuer 03 movement with very seductive price

Still need to see one in steel or at least the photo of its final production but it is a potential possibility

Yes I'm excited to see what the 2017 TAG Heuer Autavia will be like. I think this watch might be it!

I'm currently stalking a TAG Heuer Carrera Ref. CV5111.FC6335 that is on sale, but I still have time to decide till end of January.

Guys, today, I went into a Rolex AD and I saw the new Rolex Explorer I 214270 released/updated in Baselworld 2016. I have to say I like it more than I like the Tudor Bronze. So, I'm considering cancelling the order of the Tudor and just save more for the Rolex. What do you guys think?

All comments are welcomed!

Thanks,
Sam

Explorer >> Black Bay imo. I prefer the proportions of the 114270, but the latest incarnation is still one fantastic watch.

The Explorer I is a gorgeous watch. It is my preferred among everything Rolex.

I saw the Tudor Bronze in person; a great looking watch, but it has one of those "it will eventually wear out" feel to it.
Not with an Explorer.

I looked into the 36 mm before but I think the size is a bit small for a modern watch.

The explorer is one of my all time favourites, I tried one on this spring, after trying a Heuer01 and a couple of Carreras, the explorer felt like it was in a totally different class.

Hey guys, what you guys take on the Tag Heuer Monaco Caliber II "Steve McQueen" CAW211P? Should I get this instead? Is this more collectible than the Carrera?

Check this vid out.

I guess the Monaco CAW211P is not a re-edition with Jean-Claude Biver been the CEO. He said in this video that there will be a another one during his time. Am I correct or CAW211P is the re-edition that he is referring to?

Thanks,
Sam

When this interview was done by @Calibre11, the Monaco Steve McQueen Calibre11 (Heritage) CAW211P was already out. At the end of the interview, JCB said their could be "probably all together, 5 re-editions... by [the] end of 2030". He listed Monaco, Monza, Autavia, and potentialy two others from Heuer's past, yet to be determined. The assumption is that the Monaco is already one of them. However I would expect they will do something to celebrate the Monaco 50th Anniversary in 2019; whether that is a 'Heuer' branded model, or a modern reinterpretation, will keep us in suspense.

I reckon that's right. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Monaco dropped this year and maybe brought back for 2019?

I already liked the 3 he mentioned and I have 1 of them so far which I would love to collect all 5.

Possibly; assuming the 50th Anniversary would be 'limited', have some differentiating features, including a special box, or even a slightly revised dial to make it stand-out from the 2015 model and its predecessor the 40th Anniversary.
In any case, just two more years to find out.
