I did like the gold on the Porsche though, it's a very nice tone. Not too yellow... works really well with the red strap, still not sure about the dial though.
Isn't it bloody weird how this cheaper quartz piece got a lumed bezel insert and the big brother Night diver did not
I watched that late last night as it happens. Still an intriguing model, but sadly unable to see it with our own eyes is a problem.

I still have no clue whom this thing caters to... Personally, if I wanted a solar-powered daily beater, I'd go Japanese for one tenth of the price of the AR-SG...
As much as I actually like the Solargraphs, I have to agree. But then, the Solargraph is much more stylish and way cooler than the solar alternatives from Casio et al so who knows
I really like it tbh. Not to wear as a beater, but just generally. I do agree though, if it was a beater you’re after then there are cheaper alternatives. That’s not what TH are looking to do though.
Personally I love my Aquaracer beater, it’s been through a lot and still looks great. I just wish it had a better movement.. like a solar quartz one.
Thanks for sharing brobeans. Splendid video, really shows what a killer timepiece this is. A hundred times cooler than the full titanium version.
Totally agree. These guys have a raft of similar videos which were very useful for making potential purchases…or not making them.
