They’re just arriving in Boutiques and ADs as of Tuesday. I got hands-on:

It’s pretty cool, the DLC case is as nice as it is on the Night Diver. The bezel effect looks better in person too

    So what’s the overall opinion?

    Considering a purchase or underwhelmed?

First set pic above pics left me feeling disappointed, but latest pics turned my opinion around somewhat.

It looks cool but I aint no fan of solar power, electric watches, especially not in this pricepoint. I want low precision mechanical good ol shit

I do not wear quartz watches, so the Solargraph is unfortunately disqualified. But if it were a mechanical 40mm, I very well might buy it, I really liked the way it felt and wore. Plus, according to the TAG site, the bezel is lumed:

My verdict is it's really cool but too bad it's quartz.

I’m really looking forward to trying this on, I love quartz for the accuracy and toughness, this looks like the perfect daily beater.

I have nothing against quartz. But I don't really care for the swirly look on the carbon bezel, that's the only negative for me. Overall I think it's cool.

If they ever make one in Night Diver form, it would definitely have my attention.

I don't like the swirly carbon when it's used for the case like with so many other forged carbon watches, but I think it works nicely for the bezel insert here.

I actually really like the bezel, especially as every one will be different. The carbon element means more to me as I am a keen cyclist, so value the material. Titanium for the same reason too.

I only have one mechanical watch, being new to this, but don’t have any intention to grow a huge collection. I just want a small mix of colour, tech and complications to have a variation.

This is certainly one I am intrigued with, as something fresh, and don’t have to risk the calibre 5 to get the Aquaracer fix I am destined to get at some point.

So I visited a TAG boutique today and tried on the rabbit and the red Porsche, I asked about the Solargraph and they basically said 'If you want to give us a deposit then we can get one in for you but otherwise we ain't getting one.' I guess we shouldn't complain too much since we're not having 'display only' watches in the windows, but this kind of thing is getting a little annoying. I might want one, but I won't know until I see the damned thing!

It's not a LE though, is it? Maybe they'll just show up once preorders are filled.

Blue is all gone, red was nice... seemed very small to me, but then I was wearing my 47mm SLR. I actually checked with them that the rabbit Carrera was 44mm cos I couldn't believe it. I'm still not sure I believe it. Doesn't seem as chunky as I remember the Sports Carreras.

£20,000 for the Porsche Carrera gold though.... it's way too much. It also gives off a more vintage vibe than I thought it would.
