·Hi,
I'm on the lookout for a period correct original Heuer bracelet for my 70's Silverstone, but it's all very confusing, perhaps someone could help me out.
I'm seeing Mk1 and Mk2 mentioned a lot, but not sure what the difference is. Does it have to do with the straight taper vs the double width 'step-in' options? If so, were these both offered as options or is one of them earlier than the other?
Are the bracelets common the the Monaco and Silverstone? I imagine that the end links are different but are the designs and widths the same?
Any info would be most appreciated, and if anyone has an original in good condition that they'd be willing to part with it would be great to hear from you.
