is it correct you can confirm your T/H is uathentic with the serial number its just
i tried this before and it didnt recognise the number i find it all very confusing but
i can give the numbers

It's not a foolproof method. You can check if the serial number exists with the TAG warranty database, but this isn't a 100% complete data set, so you might not find a genuine watch listed. Likewise, it's entirely possible for a counterfeit watch to borrow a genuine serial number. However, if you go to a TAG authorized dealer then they should be able to look it up properly for you and determine authenticity. Or post pictures here and we can have a go.

yes your quite right with tag the numbers dont guarantee but i took it to a boutique they said its its tag and the movement id eta 2000-1 so maybe im just over cautious
