My CG1110 came back from servicing looking like this...
But I wanted it to stay like this, so they had to put the old dial back in for me.

LINK CT1111
Although apparently in the book he wore a GP and then a Seiko. 馃槻
Yep mainly a Seiko in the book. Think he traded the GP for the Seiko.

Read it a while ago. Hard read compared to the Bond novels (which unfortunately show their time). Film much better

Oddly I think the link line could work as 3 hander. In a suitable size. The flow of the bracelet and case works well & could jump on that 70s intergrated bracelet trend.

Link is weird, hasn't been a new one for about 5 years but it's still in the catalogue... mostly 32mm, with just two Cal 5s three handers still available. Maybe that's the next one to be revamped?

Not sure about a revamp link(I would love it, even if just a movement upgrade or dial colors) or glass box tribute but a new senna is in the making --formula one-i wouldn't be surprised if launch lvmh watch week or start of F1 races but then again Tag Heuer never seem to align launch dates to capitalize of momentum

Well I guess it's not really a surprise... it's been a while since the last (affordable) one came out. Couple of years or so...

If there's a new Senna F1 coming, I hope it's based on the upcoming retro 38mm F1s rather than the same old same old we've been getting the last few years.

And if so, I'd like it to be predominately yellow (with touches of green & blue), not blue as the main color! Or, red & white, like his Senna T-shirt and also Marlboro colors.

This pair always reminds me of Senna. 馃榾

Would be a great idea to make a Senna F1 but it will probably just be another Calibre 16 in grey with touches of red or yellow. 馃ケ

TH would never re release this model, it鈥檚 too dated and niche with fans only being Senna fans.

Ana-dig watches are in a niche market of an already niche hobbie and typical tool watches especially dove watches in the last few years.

The market wouldn鈥檛 take this as a two tone watch, especially with that band.
You are right. A reissue of the S/EL would never be a success for the masses today.

It would have to be a LE, aimed squarely at Senna fans, which is really what this thread is about. There are many non-Senna fans who also loved the S/EL back in the day, I'd bet many would buy one just for nostalgia. However, this would still be a niche market.
It's kind of ironic that Senna wore what might be the most divisive design of the lot!
Back in the day, the S/EL Ana-Digi was the top of the line for the entire TAG Heuer range of models. The 1/100th split seconds timing functions were considered cutting edge high-tech, the ultimate tool watch for a racecar driver. So, it made perfect sense for the Senna to wear this watch.

It was Senna's personal taste and style to wear the two-tone versions on leather straps. But two-tone was very much in vogue during the '80s and '90s. Not only for watches, but cars too. I remember seeing many Mercedes, BMW and Lexus etc. with two tone chrome & gold wheels and gold badges replacing the standard silver.

Yeah but I bet the managers at TH wish he'd have worn something a little more 2025 friendly. 馃榿

Are any of these 2025 friendly?

Maybe the 6000, but you'd have to eat your hat (per your other post). 馃ぃ

He did wear a Super 2000 chrono at one race (perhaps two). Yeah, that's the ticket! A Senna Aquaracer! Except, that's not really Motorsports, is it? I guess it could be the Senna Aquaracer Jet Ski Edition!

But no, that would be a lie. He actually still wore his S/EL during water sports. LOL
