TAG Heuer is on a “revolution” this 160th Year with so many great and strong offerings, I’d agree to that 👍 But I wouldn’t put those under CEO Arnault’s belt. It was from the previous year’s team in product planning design and preparation. The next move of CEO FA remains to be seen and challenged. And all eyes and hopes are with him, but I’m sure with an incredible TAG Heuer team to back him up 😉

My hope is that FA and TH are working on a 60s Autavia equivalent to add alongside their modern "adventurer" models, similar to the approach of balancing avant grade and heritage design (Carrera Sport, Carrera "elegant", 160th Carrera) that they established in 2020.

Good interview. The Arnault brothers are in charge of 2 of my favorite brands and I'm liking their direction a lot.

^ The one I would love to see is a 917 anniversary Monaco.

^ From the interview:
Carole Forestier, who was previously at Cartier and before that Renaud et Papi, is something of a legend in watchmaking. She was very much part of the Only Watch project and will take a big leadership role in bringing new innovation and elevation to TAG Heuer. It is funny especially with the specialized press, as soon as they found out Carole was with us, they were all asking, “What is she doing?” Well, she already worked on this project as well as the Plasma but more than that she is behind our entire movement strategy that we are rolling out. We have developments in-house. We have close developments with partners. She is overseeing all the new movements that we launched. The TH30-00, the TH50-00, the great Solargraph in the solar-powered Aquaracer— she worked on all of these.
I am still hopeful that someday they'll reissue a revival of the original Calibre 11 movement. Time will tell!

For sure they will, it is the explanation for killing the calibre11.com brand

This bit rubbed me up the wrong way when talking about the Dark Lord…I don’t think this is something to brag about Freddy…

Demand has already been very high. It’s not a limited edition. But it is limited by our production capacity. The volume we had already planned for a year has been immediately sold out. So there is now a waiting list for the watch.

I thought the TAG Heuer Dark Lord Monaco is a numbered LE 😲 Probably this is similar to the Heuer Heritage Monza 😗 Should be a good candidate / wishlist 😉
