·Eight of the Calibre 1969s were sold before the model was cut. The CH80s did not make it into stores.

In re-reading the old Cal 1969 thread, I see you had one in your hands at the 5th Ave Boutique and passed. I bet you're sorry you didn't buy it when you had the chance! Reminds me of the time I passed on a Rolex Daytona! 🤦
Yes that appears to be it. Odd then if only 8 were sold I could find two for sale without even looking very hard... and not even that expensive £11,500.
