Return of the Grand Carrera?

Wonder what price point it will be launched. The plain ordinary cheap non grand current Carreras are listed around 5000 Euro right, so the grand ones would probably start at 8000 and up. What do you guys think?

But, but... JCB said the Grand Carrera was 'stupid', he said you can't have a Carrera as the 'best' and then have something above that...

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Grand Carrera, in fact I'm pretty sure my next watch will be a GC, but that's what he said!
Yes, I thought of that, too. He said something like that in an Interview. But maybe rather, that is was not easy to make something, which is even better than the best! But I am sure, that he will have no problem to get his Team at TAGHeuer to solve this challenge 馃榾 !
For example a Grand Carrera Heuer 03 DefyLab.

I found the interview. He did indeed say Carrera was the top/best and so you cannot have a Grand Carrera. But then he added... "maybe in 10 years". He also said Link was a bracelet, not a watch, and look how that turned out.

Exactly what I thought about the new Link Range. But it shows, that he is flexible enough to change his mind if necessary.

But on the other hand, he also said the Link bracelet could be used on other watches, and it is on the new Senna Carrera.

The new movement would make a lot of sense for the return of the GC, but didn't JCB say that wouldn't be in a TAG until 2019?

I'd be surprised if the Rotating Disc system was part of the re-boot...but let's see

I think I would be too. Hopefully neither the RS nor the LS makes a reappearance.

That's something that actually could make some sense, as well as triggering the buyer-fingers of many nerds!

Cant wait to see the new grand carrera coz Im on the market before to get one but its already discontinued plus their selling me the stock GC with all the scratches with only 20%disc. Any how lucky the cal32 flyback black racer still available that time and TH sent me a new one.

Right so that suggests that it is the new movement since JCB said the new movement wouldn't come to TAG until 2019.

Perhaps they needed extra time to study the latest trends in counterfeit fashion watches, to get the design just right?
