路Could anyone direct me to a jeweler who could help? I have a circa 1988 Ladies professional series 980 018b that I bought as my first "grown-up" watch in Europe. I had not worn it for several years and it was not running so I sent in into Tag Heuer for restoration. Their customer service was abysmal. No call with a quote, or even an email, just a form letter sent to me saying "we are returning your watch unrepaired", so I called in to inquire. The customer service just said they don't have parts for this vintage watch, but when I asked further, she didn't know what part was not available. I asked if there was any other option than just having a dead hunk of metal, and they didn't have any other options, other than reaching out to a watch "restorer", which they did not have any suggested people. So, does anyone on this forum have any options? I would prefer to drop off in the Pacific Northwest area if possible, but I am not opposed to sending in to someone that is legit. This was on my wrist for most of my twenties and thirties so I want "this watch" not a new watch. I also dive. Thank you in advance, I really do appreciate your help.
