Hey Johan, unfortunately lume doesnt work as falsely advertised by Swiss companies. You need to charge it with a light source for it to glow. The Formula 1 has very little lume applied to it and normal wear indoors will often not make it glow, you need to blast a pocket light or direct sunshine on it for it to glow like advertised by the Swiss people. Have you tried charging it with a light source?

Well. I mean, it should glow a bit. But yes, contrary to popular belief lume is not so you can read the time in the middle of the night. Lume is applied so that when you are diving you can shine a torch on your wrist and see the time.

Dare we ask where this watch was purchased?

Charge it up with the torch on your phone for a few seconds, then have it in the dark somewhere and see if it glows.

Hi,
It was purchased in Singapore. It is now glowing a bit after exposing it to direct light source for a while

I had a Seiko monster that had amazing lume, would last most of even winter’s long nights.

My BB58 last all night with no significant torch light, just natural.

if you need lume all night a diver is needed.

The lume on the F1 is actually pretty good. Not as good as the Aquaracer in my experience, but still miles ahead of any swatch group brands below Omega. The BB58 is exceptional though. They’ve been doing a fantastic job lately.

I can compare a WAZ1110 Formula 1 to Omega 2254.50, the Omega has more lume surface but the Tag is more legible.
