Ref. 12

hey guys, was wondering is somebody could help me determin whether or not my ref. 12 is fake, it got some irregularities. first up it got a signed crown, which the model shouldn't have. The hands on the chrono are squared, and most of the pictures i find online got rounded ones.

the movement is unsigned, and the back is usigned, just marked 12. the movement is a valjoux 7734 like it should be.

appreciate any help i can get, really want to get it serviced but i won't risk servicing a fake.

I do not think there were fakes that old covering that era of models.

Your watch has probably a history of attempted repairs or upgrades.

Extreme polishing can wipe out any inscription on a back case, especially for older vintage models.

On the plus side, the case looks in great condition.
