Anyone have any idea why the Red Bull Carrera on a strap is CAR2A1N.FT6100 while the same watch on a bracelet is a CAR2A1K.BA0703, surely the head of the watch should be the same - so why the different part number?

I think because they are different size, the FT6100 is 45mm and the BA0703 is 43mm

The CAR2A1K.BA0703 is made from stainless steel. The CAR2A1N.FT6100 is also made from stainlesssteel, but is coated in black titanium carbide and has a red border between the case and bezel. That’s the only difference. Both carrera’s are 45 mm. See the pictures above. The CAR2A1K.BA0703 is more expensive.

Now you come to mention it, I think I did ask my contact at TAG and he said it was what you've just said. Kinda makes you wonder why though...

TAG Heuer Boutique in Bicester village have these at £2970 with the metal bracelet, check stock before travelling though.
