    Hi,

I'm new here and would be very happy if someone knows more about this Autavia. This watch is from 1st hand and was bought in 1965. It is absolutely original. But there is no Autavia on the dial.

It is the 3rd execution. Serial no. 88XXX. Diameter 38mm. The special thing is that the 3 and 9 also have a tritium point, which I have never seen before. Unfortunately the bezel is missing.

    Beste regards

Hi Tintan, you recently bought this one? I was watching it too. These do come up occasionally without the Autavia on the dial so there are no suspicions about it. The serial numbers tend to be in a similar region too. I don't think anyone has clarified WHY these were made without the name though!

I've never noticed the lume dots I admit. Enjoy it!

    Hi Steve

Yes, I just bought it. The son (around 80 years old) can well remember when his father wore this watch. I'll send the watch Heuer. But I don't think the know anymore.

    Best regards

Also is that the original chrono hand? I had thought these came with the short tail similar to the Carrera. Is it maybe a bit later than 1965? 88xxx and the long tail hand might place it around 67-68?
