    Greetings from Finland :)

I´m vintage watch enthusiast (mainly from ´70s watch) and now my first Heuer (Carrera ref. 150.573F) is arriving. While waiting I´m looking for all kind of information about it and I´m checking out age of this ref. Seller thought that it is from year 1969 but I´ve found that cal 15 came in 1972 and barrel case came in 1974. And somewhere I saw that cal 15 disappeared from Carrera after 1974. So can anyone wiser confirmed that is this ref. from 1974? Or is there somewhere serial number list on web I can check out age of this Heuer after I got it?

Unfortunately there is no exact way to determine year of manufacture with many vintage Heuer watches. Finding your watch in the catalogs at Calibre 11 or On The Dash is the best way to get a rough idea, as I asume you have done.
Congratulations on the purchase, photos do not do the dial justice. You will be thrilled when you see it for real.
    ...and welcome to the forum!

Yes, I got it!!! Wow this dial is so beatiful... and its beauty is hard to get capture with cellphone cam, but here is quick snap of it.
Thanx for links to catalogs. Find it from catalogue ´74 so I want to believe that this is from that year (my birthyear :))

Thx @Hubert ! Now I have to find out a new strap to my new love... something brown, something "rally-atmosphere"... with orange stitching maybe... Any ideas?

And yeah... you are right, that SLR-tribute Carrera is very much with same spirit. And very attractive for being such a new watch.

It's custom made by heuerville, you can make it to your own requirements.

    Cheers,

I have one of Squinky's straps on my blue Carrera. He has brown onesPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network too.

Wow, that blue dial is cool too:cool:
I think I´ll try strap made by Heuerville at first... and forgive me spamming with pics but here is another, little bit better pic of mine :)
