Just watched a bunch of unboxing/first look videos of first expensive fashion brand 3100 watch from montblanc aside from noticing that they too are using the clasp system that TagHeuer uses, which i love - they DID adopt 3100's "enhanced ambient mode" properly. Looking at it carefully in the videos i notice a few things:

1. Enhanced ambient mode dials down the "definition" a little bit, could just be my imagination, but there's a subtle visual difference in crispness of the lines etc, only if you look closely though, even in the video a shot from a feet away and I no longer see the difference enough to notice.
2. There's second hands guys, so if done well this will look pretty much like a normal watch in this mode.

This looks promising from Montblanc, let's hope Tag follows with a similar adoption.

i strongly believe they will build further on the CM concept. It makes perfect sense and the possibilities are virtually endless. Even the lug design can be changed and additional colours can be added to suit different tastes. To me, the whole point of the CM compared to the connected is to have an increased lifespan and connectivity with customers as a typical buyer buys one or maybe 2 TH analog watches whereas there CM concept eventually attracts customers to spend more money over a longer period of time.
