With minor variations, that strap could easily be used for LINK inspired-models, or for 'racing' models as if it were tyre tread.

I actually didn't see the "Link" bracelet in it until you just mentioned it, now that I do I see what you mean that's pretty close.

It's usually the 'Heuer' fans who decry the new TAGs as hideous, but on this occasion I'd have to say that is not terribly attractive... mind you the Carrera Manchester United isn't a lot better. The watch itself is fine, with the red hands and markers, but the devil is awful.

They're appealing to Manchester United fans, though, so this is a target group with inherent poor taste anyway... I'd say they got it spot on.

To any Man U fans, that was a joke btw. But seriously, these watches are only going to appeal to that one set of supporters. Anybody who supports any other team won't want to go near them. I guess it's just as well that Man U have a large global following. I predict more sales of these in the Far East than in Europe. 😀

Just had to sign up and agree with you all. As an attending Utd fan, I still cannot buy one, despite looking around for my first Tag purchase as we speak. Far East market only, though I suspect rip offs will already be getting produced.

It is available to preorder. Price is £1300. United members do get 10% off at the store so they be able to get one for £1170.

It would be so much nicer if it just had the Man Utd logo on the back... but it's better than just the devil on the Carrera.

I don't like the Red Devil on either side. If the devil on the face was say in Matte black, and the thing on the rear removed, I would be tempted. Even as a fan, I find both look a touch tacky.
