Thanks for this, still quite new to this game. I will try the various positions and see what I get. Thanks 馃憤
Very interesting, I resyncd my watch and left it in the "3 Up" position for 24 hours and got a reading of -1s/d. It amazed me how different positions can result in such different readings! I will be testing all positions in the following week. I have found a new hobby 馃槜

Because I have a headboard and I am a side sleeper, I am asking for it if I wear any watch at night (except a G).
I have a scratch on the bezel of my Omega that helps me keep that fresh. Watches off at night for me.

So it looks like I've found the sweet spot. 48 hours of wearing the watch in the day and putting it in the 3up position at night has resulted in a 0.0s/d deviation. Thanks everyone for the knowledge and suggestions!

I am currently measuring mine with the face upwards. After approx 60h it has gained about +3,5 to 4 seconds so mine doesnt seem to dislike 'face up' as much as yours

Nice, thanks for all the help with this. Mine hates face up 馃憥 So 3up is the way, lands up with less that - 1s/d and wearing it ends up with +1 s/d so I am pretty happy with that. I need a watch box that allows me to put it in the 3up position.

Is there such thing as watch boxes where the watches are put with crown up?

Maybe you can get a watch cabinett similar to Rob's and just mount it on the side, making all watches sit with crown upwards 馃榿

Haha good idea! I will have to engineer something like that I think. Otherwise I will leave it in the winder, with the winder off, in the horizontal position!

I'm curious, what are you guys getting for the Heuer 02's accuracy?

My Dato 45 doesn't have a running seconds hand, so it's hard for me to know exactly how accurate my H02 is. From my manual timing based on the minute hand's position, I'd say mine is somewhere between +1 to +6 secs a day, but I could be off. So I'd like to know what others are seeing on the H02.

I'm not obsessed with accuracy, just like to get a base line read of my watches when new.

From memory, I get approx. -3 secs/day from mine

But then the door will open like a garage.... 馃憥

I am hoping box number 4 will be available soon! 馃榿

Maybe just maybe you can turn on the chronograph first and have it synchronize with your cell phone time when set it down. kinda like when you set the time for non hacking movement.

I really like that Dato45 though...馃憤

Thanks!
Not a bad idea, I'll give it a try.

Mine is averaging about 2-3 sec fast. A little more when I don't wear it, a little less when worn.

I've timed my Dato 45 now against a universal standard time clock over the last two days. The H02 is definitely more precise when wound well. By leaving it in a watch winder overnight, my watch is around -1 to +1 sec/day. I had the minute hand synchronized at 0 seconds over an hour marker so it was easy to see how much it moved, it was still dead center over the marker after 24 hours - pretty much spot on!

Then I tried timing it using @OttoWilliam's suggestion, again leaving it in a watch winder overnight. The Chrono function makes it run faster, it gained +6 secs leaving the chrono running for 24 hours.

For a non-cosc movement they are good figures. The H02 is a good movement - even let鈥檚 you know it鈥檚 winding! 馃槈
I set mine (H02 Monaco) to the minute when I got it. As long as it鈥檚 within that minute each day when I look at it, I鈥檓 a happy bunny...

I have been getting much lower accuracy with one of mine..... more than +20 secs per day. Is it worth trying to get it recalibrated?
