    ^Very cool!
If only I could afford one of the 11 made TAG Turbo 911s. If I had that kind of money, I'd buy my grail watch Carrera 1158CHN to go with it as well. One can dream...

Looks great right? But beware, they are after your classics! Initially I thought this was a most excellent venture, a classic 911 with an e-engine. But this will require an initial purchase of a "donor" car, wtf?! And 75,000 euros just for that:mad:

And that doesn't even get it to the RS level.

All of this so some dweeb dude can take his e-bike to Starbucks for a coffee whilst his donor car is being charged.

There's just something so wrong with this.

Takes a big part of the fun away doesn’t it. If you’ve experienced the real thing there’s no way you’ll fully enjoy an EV mod. No more roaring flat 6 and smells of burning gasoline and oil. I also expect the weight will be a big issue. A classic 911 hardly weighs a tonne.
On the other hand future generations will never experience all these things so to them a clean EV classic will probably be the coolest thing. My kids will probably never even learn to drive a stick.

Coming up on 20,000 KMs since I bought it 18 months ago, been using it as a daily driver and spending a few hours in it every day of the week and it’s been incredibly good fun. The kids absolutely love it too on road trips too!

Bought my first Porsche in Wuppertal many years ago and imported to Norway a 1988 944 type II Satin black metallic with 90K km on the clock.
That was when i understood chassis engineering and roadgrip. Several years later i bought a black/black 1986 951 Turbo and then i understood what turbo is all about. Wow the memories. The turbo had to go for property purchase and family but boy do i miss it.......There is only one car manufacturer who combine history, feeling, engineering and heritage in my book......Zuffenhausen 4ever......
@Yago that was one awesome classic 911

I have to say @Mspeedster I don’t believe it’s possible to improve on the 356, being my favourite car ever to have been built. I settled for a classic ‘73 Beetle as my first car though, as no chance of one of those, even back then.

Anyway, the opening view of the 357 didn’t inspire me until he started discussing the design elements and then it grew immensely, to the point where the rear view just sang. Very nicely done Porsche.

It didn’t stop there though, that van is next level again. Absolutely superb looking machine!

    Love both in fairness.
