Great pics, thanks for sharing.

I'm surprised that there aren't many cars & memorabilia from the 50's-90's, or did you just not photograph them?

There were some other cars, not as many as you'd think though... I visited the Donington Museum years ago and that really was incredible, like 15 McLaren's next to each other and then 15 Williams after that. Crazy. But I think that's all gone now.

I kinda wish the Mercedes wasn't hung from the ceiling since it would have been nice to get a better look at it.

I mostly photographed modern cars, but there weren't many others, there were some Formula 3 cars and a Triumph Dolomite, there was also an older F1 car, green with white exhaust pipes.... can't remember what make it was.

The upstairs is all about the history of the site, in particular the airfield and the part it played in WW2.

There was a lot of 'technical' stuff which to be honest most F1 fans would already know about, like how suspension works. tyres etc... probably more aimed at school trips (there was one going on today, unfortunately) and there was a vomit inducing video at the end which I am still recovering from now. Seriously, I would avoid that - it's a nice idea, but I had to look away from the screen cos it was motion sickness hell!

We did the Donington museum a few(maybe a lot) years ago too, it was really good, pity the collection was split up, when Tom Wheatcroft? sold the circuit.
