Got to try the Modular 45 on my latest trip and was really surprised that it actually could fit my small wrists, much thanks to the short lugs. Needless to say, I got quite excited to buy my first smartwatch! I'm however an iOS user so what functionality doesn't work with iOS at the moment? Enough to make me hesitate buy it?

Nothing significant that I know of. I think it’s only analytical data that iOS users can’t access. App-wise, everything seems to work that I use...

Thanks a lot for your answer, nice to see that notifications and such thing work as planned! However, analytical data, is this the Google Fit functionality, navigation etc or do you know more about what this is supposed to mean?

I haven't seen it in action when paired to an Android phone, but I get SMS, Facebook and Instagram notifications, can dictate to Google Assistant, I get the Google Fit data on the watch but haven't checked if it syncs (I don't use fitness data), Google Maps works, I get calendar notifications. Only thing I've had issues with is Strava, which worked before the latest update. I can't seem to get the account to sync but I suspect it's a Strava thing, not an iOS thing.

In my opinion, the iOS app thing only became a thing because some people thought they were being short-changed without it. If you use WatchMaker for watch faces if you want to, then I'm not aware of any actual features that you miss out on with iOS.

It's a great watch (I'm on my 2nd one lol), and really looks and feels fantastic on. My only wish is that when the next generation comes along, that it's offered as a module so we can upgrade at a lower cost, or that they release a Calibre 01 mechanical module for it (as I find the mechanical Calibre 5 module option a little bland).

Oh sorry, the analytical stuff I'm talking about, I believe you get access to the battery level as a graph to monitor performance, and can make more advanced adjustments to the watch faces from your Android phone. Will let someone with one elaborate further.

Thanks a lot! Would be awesome if I could just borrow a Modular for a two weeks before I made up my mind and started to save, 1500EUR+ is a lot for a smart watch, especially since there are so many watches you want to try before you die😁

Question about additional straps. What is the best way to store them.

Thanks

im sure the first time I saw this it was available to buy on their site... not sure if its just that its gone out of stock it says not available online or if it actually cant be bought online at all - which seems a bit silly to me, we don't all live near a Tag boutique or one that stocks the M45

Just move the arrow! You can see the white with logo in your screen shot. The next one is black with logo. I’ve also got yellow and red but they’re not publicly available at the moment.

Yeah I know where they are on the website but you can't buy from there! How have you got a yellow and red one as well? (Assuming you mean yellow and red with the tag heuer logo on them - as the white and black)
