Thanks; I am running the same. But as I pointed out above ^, my Android Pay is now working.
Just for reference the UK update today was to the version number posted previously. Prior to that it was .145xxxx

So after today's update, you are running 2.0.0.149356742?

Yes, correct. Was updated to this about 10am this morning, approx 10 hours ago.

Hasn't seemed to fix my issues (which is obvious if it's updated to a version people already had) but on the plus side my battery was good from the start and Tag UK have delivered a UK plug to me (which I'll never use but it's nice to have).

Ok, my US market 1wk old watch has had those versions from the start-- so, it's a little confusing...is this supposed update a thing worldwide, or was the UK behind?

My current build version (also from the start) is NXG12F, curious to know the version of anyone who has had an update today?

I guess it will all sort itself out.

My watch after the update is the same build number. It could also be that the UK batch of watches where "older" stock with the previous build prior to the release.

I've heard nothing about a universal update to address the battery issues other than on here.

Likewise-- hopefully the person who detailed direct communication with Tag and Intel will post their version numbers at some point.

My contact with Tag earlier in this thread said there would be an update in the next couple of weeks to address functionality.

I'm still getting 12hrs on average, which is not anywhere near ideal, but I can live with it for now.

Did Tag test this watch before launch? Pretty damn poor in my opinion. I haven't taken the plunge yet and won't be doing so until all these issues are sorted. I'll stick with my Samsung Gear S3 with a speaker and 4 day battery for now (£349).

Yep, on same version number here as well, build NXG12F as well, in U.K., so looks like they have now standardised.

EXPERIENCE ON IPHONE

I am looking for some help. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of tag connected 45 for about a year or when I first heard about a second model. I am an iPhone user and I am really looking for some information regarding functionality with android wear 2.0. I have been checking this board quite frequently. I have also been scouring YouTube for reviews, etc. I love the aesthetics of the watch, but I am reticent to make the purchase because of utility concerns. Therefore, I am looking for encouraging (or discouraging) words from fellow iPhone users.

On the connected 45 do you/can you:
-get texts
-reply to texts
-check/reply to emails
-calendar usage
-what are some other features iPhone users have used and liked

The watch is beautiful, but I wanted this forum's take before I take the plunge. Above and beyond some of the software issues, what are iOS limitations? Thank you for any suggestions/advice.

Either TAG, Intel or both didn't do enough QA before releasing this. Not good! However, when you try to pack too much technology, something will always go wrong.

My 10 year old iPod Nano 'smart watch' still gets the job done for me. 👍

Anyone?
Thoughts? Likes? Dislikes?

Trying to do my due diligence before taking the plunge. I love the aesthetics, just looking for advice from people who have the watch and an iPhone. Thank you.

I'm far from a techie but it's pretty obvious that something specific to Tag is draining the battery. Other Android 2.0 watches aren't having the same issue. Surely it's not rocket science to identify the cause and rectify it PRIOR to launch.

On the connected 45 do you/can you:
-get texts - YES
-reply to texts - NO
-check/reply to emails - CHECK BUT NOT REPLY
-calendar usage - I don't use one on my phone so can't comment
-what are some other features iPhone users have used and liked - Less glitchy than OG Connected, neater UI, easy to use, biggest issue for me is the ability to install apps on the watch that are not compatible with iOS but it gives no indication.

The watch is beautiful, but I wanted this forum's take before I take the plunge. Above and beyond some of the software issues, what are iOS limitations? Thank you for any suggestions/advice.

See above answers. What's clear is although vastly improved, 2.0 is still limited on iOS when compared to Android. I think it will take a few months to settle. There's also the promise of a dedicated IOS TAG app but this has to work alongside Android Wear so is unlikely to improve or change any of your above questions.

It's not fair to compare with other AW 2.0 watches unless they are both running the same micro processor.

Here are my latest calibration trends with the watch primarily discharging on idle (default settings) with some checks yesterday to determine if an update was available (none in the US) and to search for the Heuer-01 watch face (not visible yet).

Of course it's fair to compare performance and battery life. If the processor isn't as good or as efficient as that in other watches (which is not what I'm suggesting) then it would be the wrong choice.
My main point is that Tag has launched a watch (long awaited by many and looking superb) which doesn't perform as it should. The problems should have been identified and sorted before the launch - a major blunder in my opinion, especially from such a renowned company.

My 1st charge cycle gave me about 19hrs. My 2nd charge cycle just gave me 25hrs. Same setup - pretty much on idle, doing the odd check for update and having a bit of a look around. Wifi and Bluetooth on, screen on 'tilt to wake'.

That's more than acceptable depending on your settings. Don't know what default settings are; Bluetooth on? Wi-Fi on? Tilt to wake? Email and other notifications on?

First full day of use and about 6hours in and still 66%, all on except wifi (I think!), but not massive use. That being said yesterday I had google email and Facebook notification coming through, today stopped for most of the day, then just started again!
So happy so far, the only minor gripe I have is the lack of sensitivity to bringing the proper time piece up from the screen savings version when looking at the time! And the first two charges froze at 89%, I then had to turn charger on and off to complete full charge, so will see if that continues.
