Pretty cool new release, which has slipped under the radar as barely any hype. Rather like this one too.

Agree it would look great on a matching rubber strap. Wish they’d make the black version a no date. Then I think Omega have their answer to Rolex Explorer & OP line. Although I guess it’s Omegas DJ.

Not sure why they’ve gone fully polished cases on this and the black though.

Oddly cheapens the look for me.

All good points. I guess all brands want to compete with specific alternatives, but also want to still argue that they are doing their own thing too.

Haven’t seen the black one IRL yet, but I am sure that deep simple dial will look excellent. No date would be even better, I agree.

I also understand the general public want the date and date model watches sell better than non date.

That is probably the case. Personally, I rarely (if ever) look at my watch to find the date out. Much prefer the look of a no date watch.

Proof being that we’re 16 days into December and haven’t even noticed that I didn’t adjust for November!

Here's how the Ed White compares with the new FOIS. The crystal is different.

Looks very similar to what I have in my El Primeros.

That dome in the FOIS is crazy, almost think it’s Plexi & nice to see no milky ring. Be nice if that made its way to the 3861 Pro

Yes, it's an incredible well made execution. Sets the benchmark for all domed crystals.

Thanks!
I like my Omegas in NATOs. I have ordered the blue ones that I think will go great with it. Here's a temporary one.

I notice that Tudor have applied the 2025 tax already.

I eagerly await my corresponding pay rise
